Once You See It, You Can't Unsee It

drivers training stories Dec 23, 2025

Living by multiple airports, we’ve always been fascinated by aircraft in the sky. So a couple of months ago I downloaded an app that tracks the real-time location of planes and helicopters overhead.

Now we’ve noticed the same helicopter flying overhead every day. The app identified it as the Minnesota State Patrol, and an online search revealed its a new twin-engine addition to the fleet.

The noise its engine makes is very distinct — at ground level it’s louder than planes and deeper than other helicopters. At night the lights make it easy to recognize.

Just a couple of months after first identifying the helicopter, I now hardly need the app to know it’s the State Patrol. I can hear it coming. I can see its lights in the night sky.

Now that I can recognize its sound, look, and flight patterns patrolling the Twin Cities metro, I can’t unsee it or unhear it. I don’t know its pilot or even how that machine works, but I can spot it every time.

Our online training is the heart of Know Curtains. It uncovers the illusions of the online world — reality, free, influence, control, and intelligence. We help you recognize the digital helicopters in your life. Once you see them, you can’t unsee them.

And even though you don’t know the motivations of tech wizards or how the technology fully works, you’ll recognize their design and marketing patterns and see that almost all of them have the same goal — capturing our attention.

I read tech news every day. The pace of technological change is frantic, and we’re frogs in a kettle. We need principles valuing humanity to keep us grounded. It’s imperative.

Now that we have your attention. We’ll show you how to take it back.
