Home Depot has jumped on the AI bandwagon with “Magic Apron,” an AI-driven product assistant.
Signal, an encrypted messaging app, was in the news this week after a reporter was included in a top-level government Signal group chat. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard called it a “mistake.” Related↓
Signal made it clear that the “vulnerabilities” from a unrelated Pentagon memo were about phishing scandals and not its security core, saying “it remains the gold standard for private, secure communications.”
A French bill that would have required apps like Signal to create a back door to enforce drug trafficking was defeated. Related↓
Sweden is attempting a similar law opposed by its own Armed Services.
Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Computers with Windows 10 will still work, but will no longer offer free software updates or security fixes. Related↓
